Residential Inpatient Treatment

“[Four months ago], I was homeless and doing drugs. I came [here] with absolutely nothing. And now I have hope. I’m going to be going to school soon. I’m a person. I feel like a loved person.”
-Kathleen C., 33, Residential Program Client

Agape has one of South Florida’s only Level II Residential Treatment Program that serves women, 18 and older, pregnant or parenting mothers with children who are facing the challenges of chronic substance use disorders, persistent mental illness, or co-occurring disorders. Gender-specific evidence based treatment is delivered in a state-of-the-art, 85-bed facility located on our six-acre campus in South Miami-Dade County.

Because these acute traumatic experiences and illnesses are so prevalent in our society today, and cause profound suffering that leads to life altering responses, treatment at Agape is delivered through our integrated system of care. Our coordinated care model, with more than 30 years of proven results, coalesces the resources individuals need to restore wellness and quality of life, and overcome the varied and complex issues associated with addiction, chemical dependency and mental illness.

Our programs integrate treatment with physical, behavioral and spiritual healing augmented by a diverse overlay of programs that include: Serenity Garden, Art, Vegetable & Wellness Plant Nursery, Culinary Arts, Dance, Music, Theater, and Equine Therapy. This helps Agape further individualize the client treatment plan for long term recovery that helps them and their children reach their full God given potential.

Agape provides care coordination with all systems of care. We are a service provider for the Department of Children and Families, Department of Corrections, Criminal Justice System, Forensics Chapter 916, F.S.
