Siomara Ortiz is a reliable and hardworking Registered Nurse with a history of positive patient interaction and capabilities of meeting the demands of a high-volume medical practice. She has exceptional knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, medication and record keeping activities.
She provides direct care to the patients which includes facilitating social and emotional needs by creating and encourage patients to take advantage of opportunities such as support groups, social activities and other therapeutic measures. She places focus on patient’s interaction, as her companionship with her patients is in many ways her primary mode of practice.
In her past, she has recovered from substance abuse addiction and has spend numerous years mentoring and assisting women that are going through similar challenges in their lives. She is very determined to help others to make a difference in the world and that change can happen.
She is a past client at Agape and is now the Registered Nurse (RN) for the Residential Program and very inspirational to all our clients daily.
She helps the homeless and has been on her spiritual journey with God. She participates in activities in her Church and is a strong believer.
She is a graduate of Miami Dade College, Benjamin Leon School of Nursing and holds an Associates of Science in Nursing. She holds several certificates in areas of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Mental Health and Fundamentals of Nursing.
