Dr. Linda Collado, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Linda Collado completed her general psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital where she also served as Chief resident. Moreover, she completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital where she received a clinical scholar award. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and board eligible for the American Board in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Collado is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and American Medical Association. She has published work in peer-reviewed journals and participated in research.


Dr. Collado is an Affiliated Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital where she teaches and supervises medical students and psychiatrists in training. Most recently she worked in Crisis at Jackson Memorial Behavioral Health Hospital as a Psychiatric Emergency Room attending physician and previously worked at the University of Miami Counseling Center, where she treated undergraduate and graduate students. Her clinical and academic interests include: mood and anxiety disorders, acute psychiatric emergencies, child and adolescent psychiatry, supervision and medical education.
